Hello Parents!

We are so excited to be partnering with you in helping your student grow spiritually! We just want to take a second to shout out to our small group leaders! We could not do ministry effectively without their help. So if you get a second throughout your day or maybe this week, pray for your student's leader! Maybe reach out to them and thank them! They are a huge part of this ministry and they can always use some encouragement! Here is what we have coming up!

Love you all tons, and as always please let us know if we can ever be of assistance for you and your students. We are here for you!

There will be a costume contest, so best costume wins! To make Sugar Rush as EPIC as possible, we need candy. LOTS AND LOTS of candy! Tonight, students can still bring in a bag of candy of their choice to share for Sugar Rush! It will definitely be an amazing night full of fun, fellowship, and candy!!!

SUNDAY NIGHT GIRLS BIBLE STUDIES |These Bible studies are going great!!! Students are digging into God's Word, and having a blast doing so! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD! |It’s that time of year again! Throughout October we are focusing hard on Operation Christmas Child! The shoeboxes we put together aren’t only an exciting gift for the child receiving it, but each box also comes with a Bible in their language and the opportunity for the child to enroll in “The Greatest Journey,” a 12-week discipleship program where the child learns about Jesus and how to follow Him with their lives! Last year over 3.5 MILLION children said “yes” to the opportunity to participate in The Greatest Journey, 2.5 million completed the full 12 weeks, and 1.6 million dedicated their lives to following Jesus!! Our efforts toward Operation Christmas Child are not for a one-day or one-week thrill of a new toy, but for the life changing knowledge of Jesus Christ and His offer of eternal salvation! You can see exactly what items to bring to fill a shoebox here!We will have drop off boxes in the middle school and high school for the specific items.
***Date change*** //We will now have a packing party for the shoeboxes on Wednesday November 1stafter student services from 8:00 to 8:30 pm. It'll be a great time to serve and pray over the boxes going out!

HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT!!! |This year we will be going to Daytona Beach! We will stay at Country Inn and Suites in Port Orange and have a very similar schedule to last year's, just in a different location! The dates are still November 10-11 but the cost is $85 IF you sign up and pay by October 29th (THIS SUNDAY). The cost will go to $100 after that date. You can sign up and pay the registration fee online atwww.mallstudents.com or at the Warehouse desk before and after student services. CURRICULUM

Dear parents,

This week in our Going Rogue series, we focused on anger and how it can destroy us from within, as well as injure people and things around us. The reality is that many good people lose control of their anger, and the results have varying degrees of consequence.

Students discussed how anger most often creates a negative mark on the person, thing, or situation it’s being directed toward. By understanding our responsibility to appropriately handle our feelings, we can be better equipped to focus on God when we feel angry or disappointed.

Look for a chance to talk with your teenager this week. Here are some questions that can get the conversation going:

  • What are some examples of how individuals have hurt the people they love by not being able to control their anger?
  • What are some things that we can do instead of responding badly from our anger?
  • Think about the last time you really got angry. You don’t have to share all the details, but were you pleased or disappointed by your response? Why?

Thanks for praying for our ministry. Have an incredible week!
