WOW!!! OnePoint was this past weekend, and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! If you were a part of the weekend in anyway either as a leader, host home, prayer partner, or by allowing your student to be a part of the weekend we just want to say THANK YOU! We ask that you would continue to pray for our students. Weekends such as this can create or stoke a bright and burning passion for Jesus, and we pray that it would continue to burn bright and grow in intensity. Weekends like this can be a mountain top experience, but now our students are back in the valley, back at school and the routine of life, where life can be tough. Please join us in praying for our students, and that the same desire to honor Christ Jesus will continue on, even though the weekend is over.
Love you all tons, and as always please let us know if we can ever be of assistance for you and your students. We are here for you.

Luis and Chad
This is a one lesson leadership series called Living Out Leadership. This lesson will focus on compassion. We define compassion as a deep awareness of the suffering of another person coupled with the desire to relieve it. We will look at compassion through the example of Jesus in Mark 6. As Christians, we are called to recognize the needs in our world, consider God’s heart toward people, and find our role in meeting needs.
Here are some questions you could ask your teenager about this week’s lesson to get the conversation flowing:
- Why is compassion so important for leaders?
- What is God’s attitude toward the needy and hurting people in our world?
- Why does God ask us to help meet the needs of people in our world? Why doesn’t God just miraculously create food for them or clean their water or cure their diseases without our involvement?
Have a great week!
