Hello Parents!

You heard that right, FREE CAMP! But it may not be for your student. We have a limited number of spots to send students for free to Vertical Student Camp this year! However, there is a qualification. We have asked our students this question, "If I could give you a coupon for free camp for an UNCHURCHED and/or UNSAVED friend, do you have someone that you could invite?" We have had many students say YES!! We are so excited about this opportunity for students to reach out and get their lost and unchurched friends to camp and give God the opportunity to do a work in their lives! Please consider praying for the friends that will be invited and remember, WE ONLY HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS!

We love you and your family a ton! Please let us know if there is any thing we can do for you!

These are the big events that are coming up in our student ministry!
Please go to for more information!

There are two ways to sign up, you can sign up online by clicking the link HERE or you can sign up at the welcome desk on a Wednesday or Sunday! Right now the cost is $275 but there are a couple price breaks you need to be aware of!

  • 5/6 will be the last day to sign up at $275. On 5/7 the cost of camp will be $300
  • 6/17 will be the last day to sign up at the $300 price. On 6/18 the cost of camp will be $350
  • 7/8 will be the last day to sign up for camp.
  • 7/15 will be our camp parent meeting after church!

In order to lock in your spot for camp at any of these prices, you must give a $50 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration! It will be an amazing week! If you are registering online, you have the ability of writing in how much you want your payment to be. Just fill in the payment blank with either the $50 deposit or the amount (up to $350) that you would like to pay! Making manageable payments has never been easier!

This year, student fundraising for Vertical Student Camp will look a little different, and we are very excited about the wonderful opportunity this will provide for many of our students to come to camp (Not to mention helping out parents and their wallets!). Students will raise their own funds to go to camp by asking others to consider donating a dollar amount to help them go to camp, which they will signify on the Vertical Camp fundraising card. Parents of students will sign out this card at the Welcome Desk. Click HERE for the info letter and for any questions please come see us at the Welcome Desk in the Student area or email us at

We are in a series called "The Savage Life." It is a six week series in the book of Ephesians that challenges our students to live a bold and active life! Come on in and check it out!

We are back to normal! See you at church Sunday night from 6 to 7:30!

We are partnering with One More Child Global and Pastor Sean will be leading this trip with the High School Students! For more info, click HERE. Next meeting is May 6th!

We are going back to New York City this year for the 5th year in a row!! It is an incredible trip that will definitely get you out of your comfort zone! Here are some of the details of the trip...

  • When: July 7th-14th
  • Cost: $975
  • Who: High School students only

Please consider going on this amazing trip! If you have any questions, you can email Luis Ruiz at

We love and care about the families in our ministry so deeply, and our heart is to serve you and your family in the best way that we can! If there is anything we can do to help, please feel the freedom to let us know.

Colossians 1:28-29

Dear parents,
We’ve started a four-lesson series about the Holy Spirit, one of many concepts about God that remain beyond our full understanding. As a parent, you’ve probably tried to communicate something to your teenager that he or she didn’t fully grasp. Despite that obstacle, you still have a loving relationship based in truth.
In a way, that’s similar to how God allows us to know him without perfect knowledge. The big difference is that he provides the Holy Spirit to help us in our faith journey. Just imagine if you had an advocate who was always around, continually helping your teenager understand you better!
In fact, that’s a role you can play as we work through this study. Try starting a conversation with your teenager this week by using these questions:

  • What’s something about God that you think will always be beyond your understanding?
  • If you could, would you want to know everything about God? Why or why not?
  • Why do you think God has three different persons with three different roles, all functioning as just one deity?

Thanks for all your prayers for our students and our ministry. May God bless you in the coming week!
