Sunday, June 3rd

Hello Parents!

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner!!!  VBS is June 4-8 from 9 to noon. This is such a sweet time to minister to our preschool and elementary aged kids in the church, but also those in the community! If you know of a family with kids that don't attend a church, this week of VBS is a wonderful time to extend a warm invitation to them! Along with inviting families, we ask that you would also be in prayer for the kids that will be on our campus all week learning about Jesus everyday and for the leaders who will be teaching them. Thank you for joining us for an amazing week sharing the love of Jesus Christ with families in our church and our community!

Love you all tons, and as always please let us know if we can ever be of assistance to you and your students. We are here for you.

Making manageable payments has never been easier!

This year, we have the amazing opportunity to extend free trips to camp for students who are unchurched and unsaved. We are so excited about this opportunity for students to reach out and get their lost and unchurched friends to camp and give God the opportunity to do a work in their lives! Please consider praying for the friends that will be invited and remember, WE ONLY HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS!

Students will raise their own funds to go to camp by asking others to consider donating a dollar amount to help them go to camp, which they will signify on the Vertical Camp fundraising card. Parents of students will sign out this card at the Welcome Desk. If your student has not fully completed their fundraising envelop, they still have time!  There will be a drawing June 17th for amazing prizes for those who have their envelops completed and turned in by then. Click HERE for the info letter and for any questions please come see us at the Welcome Desk in the Student area or email us

This Wednesday night we will hear from some of our seniors! They will share with our students some of their greatest joys, difficult moments, and advice from their time in our Students Ministry. It will be a great night to celebrate our seniors and hear from their hearts.

Colossians 1:28-29

Dear Parents,
We’re continuing our series focusing on the topic “Identity.” Each week, students are examining a different passage of Scripture to discover truths and insights about discovering their identity in Jesus.
In our second lesson, we will explore John 8:33-37, where Jesus declared that people in his Jewish audience—despite being descendants of Abraham—were still enslaved in their sins. In this passage, Jesus spoke about what being part of his family really looks like. Slaves have no permanent rights in the home; those rights are reserved for the children of that household. Jesus’ objective was to get people to understand the importance of being a son or daughter who is adopted into God’s family.
This week, I encourage you to spend a few minutes talking with your teenager about our lesson. Consider building your conversation around these questions:

  • What does it mean to you to be part of our family? What are some of the benefits?
  • How can you be adopted into God’s family?
  • Once adopted into God’s family, what do you think are the benefits to being part of his family?

Thanks for praying for our students and our ministry. Have a blessed week!
