It is truly an honor to serve alongside you as parents. However, we know that the task is not always an easy one and we want you to know we are always here for you. We also know we serve a mighty God, whom we can go before for any and all requests! So we just want to let you know we would love to pray for you, your student and your family. Please connect with us and let us know how we can pray for you. Grab us on a Sunday morning or Wednesday night, give us a call, or email us (email@example.com). It would be a blessing to pray for you!
Love you all tons, and as always please let us know if we can ever be of assistance to you and your students. We are here for you.
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN STUDENT WORLD!
These are the big events that are coming up in our student ministry!
Please go to www.mallstudents.com for more information!
We are in our third week of our “I Will” series! Our focus tonight is “I will value”. We desire for our students to know they are valued by God, and because of that they should value those around them.
ALL IN (STUDENT LEADERSHIP)
In our ministry, we believe that students are the best ones to lead students. All In is a student leadership opportunity to get plugged in to lead in our student ministry. Our first All In meeting will be THIS Sunday, September 9th at 8:15am (Meet in the Warehouse).
MIDDLE SCHOOL FAMILY EVENT (KICKBALL AND COOKOUT)
We will have a FREE kickball and cookout event for all middle schoolers and their families on Saturday September 22 from 4 to 6pm at Dobbins Park. It will be an awesome time for fun, free food, and KICKBALL! See you then!
HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT IS HERE! | November 9th-10th
It will look completely different from last year. Due to the fact that Veterans Day doesn't land on a Friday this year, we decided it would be tough to justify spending money on a hotel for a very short trip. So this year, we will be partnering with Word of Life to be part of an event called Reverb! It will be an all-nighter in Orlando that will consist of an Orlando Magic basketball game, indoor go karts, archery tag, basketball, volleyball, ice skating and so much more! Word of life will be sharing the Gospel, so it would be a great event for students to invite their unsaved friends! We will keep you posted on schedule and cost very soon!
We love and care about the families in our ministry so deeply, and our heart is to serve you and your family in the best way that we can! If there is anything we can do to help, please feel the freedom to let us know.

This week our series continues to focus on how Jesus described himself in Scripture—a series we’re calling “In His Own Words.” Each week, we’re exploring the ways Jesus “framed” who he is—his purpose, motivation, and intentions.
In this second lesson, we will explore John 5:19, where Jesus explains the overshadowing purpose for the Incarnation—God becoming man. Yes, he came to save us from the penalty of our sin and he came to restore us to intimate relationship with God. But overshadowing all of that is this truth: He came to show us exactly what the God we can’t see, hear, taste, or touch is really like.
This week, I encourage you to spend a few minutes talking with your teenager about our lesson. Consider building your conversation around these questions:
- Brennan Manning says: “We cannot deduce anything about Jesus from what we think we know about God; however, we must deduce everything about God from what we know about Jesus.” How does this impact your view of God?
- What’s something true about Jesus that challenges how you’ve seen God in the past?
- What’s the most encouraging thing you’ve learned about God by seeing his “reflection” in Jesus?
Have an amazing week!
